How to Get from Level 1 to Level 60 Fast

February 11th, 2010 | Uncategorized | Comments Off

World of Warcraft (or WoW) is one of the most popular MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) in the world. At anytime during the day, hundreds of thousands of people will occupy the World of Warcraft servers. These people are completing quests, selling items, and trying to get their characters to level 60 in the least amount of time. For some, it might take them a few weeks to get to level 60, for others a few months. WoW leveling speed is dependent on how much time one can play the game. Only devoting an hour or two a day to the game will make level 60 seem like an impossible goal. The two main ways a player can gain experience to level up are grinding and performing quests.

Grinding in MMORPG terms is more or less wandering the map looking for enemies to defeat. WoW players have their characters attack groups of enemies that either yield high experience or have a lot of enemies that can be defeated quickly. While this can lead to a good deal of experience in a short amount of time, it can get rather boring as the player wanders the World of Warcraft map looking for groups that fit the above criteria. Also, Players cannot stay only on one map and hope to reach level 60 either. As the player gains levels and experience, the groups that were previously giving them lots of experience start to give less and less. These diminishing returns prevent players at level 20 from reaping rewards by taking out enemies many levels below them. The travel time between maps also slows down the leveling speed of the character.

Questing involves going through predetermined tasks or quests given by non-player characters in the game. Some of the quests can be as simple as “Kill X number of a certain enemy” while other quests are complex and involve traveling between multiple maps and performing multiple tasks to complete the quest. Quests are what World of Warcraft is built around for its storyline. Quests also add depth to the game by adding interaction between the player and the non-player characters in World of Warcraft.

Questing is the preferred way of leveling by Joana and Brian Kopp. In Joana’s World of Warcraft Horde Leveling Guide, he attributes 90% of his leveling to performing quests. He also goes through painstaking detail, including video footage, of when to perform each quest and the routes to take. His guide even has special tips for the Hunter class of characters. Brian Kopp’s World of Warcraft Alliance Leveling Guide suggests about 80% questing and 20% grinding. The reason for the difference in the questing percentage is that the Horde side has more quests available to them. Kopp’s Leveling Guide also claims that a player can solo level 60 in World of Warcraft, meaning they do not have to depend on grouping in order to reach higher levels. Both guides claim that these questing percentages will help someone reach level 60 in 5 days playing time or less.

While grinding does have its place in helping a player reach level 60, but should not be the main focus. Questing is the method preferred by most players, including two who have been able to reach level 60 in almost record times. Since questing also adds depth and fun to the experience, going that route to reach level 60 in World of Warcraft will not only get the player to level 60 faster, but make the journey more enjoyable.

WoW Daily Quests – Dugi’s WoW Daily Quests Guide Review

January 19th, 2010 | Uncategorized | Comments Off

I mentioned around this time last month that I was going to be trying out Dugi’s WoW Dailies Guide and getting back to you with a review.

Well, I’ve had about a month to put Dugi’s Dailies Guide through its paces, and I’ve gotta say I’m pretty happy with it so far.

So, here’s what I’ve got put together for you today. Dugi’s Dailies guide consists of two parts. The first part is a pretty decent online guide that covers some of the Northrend dailies, as well as the seasonal events.

The second part, the real meat of the guide, is reserved for the paying members. You get an addon that will show you exactly where to go to do pretty much any combination of dailies that you can dream up. It’s really easy to setup, drag, drop, and enable like any other addon. Once you get in game, you’ve got a menu system that’s really easy to navigate that lets you choose your daily quest regimen for the day, and a big glowing arrow that points you in the direction of your next quest objective.

So what’s this going to do for you? Well, it’s pretty simple. Following this addon will probably cut a couple of hours off of the time you spend doing dailies every day. This means that you can spend less time doing daily quests, and more time doing whatever it is that you love to do in WoW, be it PVP, raiding, roleplaying, or just chilling and talking to friends. And the best part is, you can still make lots of gold and keep gaining rep.

I’m going to be honest here. The guide isn’t perfect. If it was, it would do your dailies for you, or at least give you some trick to get them all done in under an hour. It doesn’t do that. All it’s going to do for you is give you the most direct path to get 25 dailies done in under 2 hours. It’s not a miracle solution, but it is definitely the quickest, easiest, and most convenient way to burn through your dailies. If you’re the type of player that does daily quests regularly, you’ll realize how valuable this addon is.

Now, if that sounds like you, here’s what I want you to do. There’s a big link right below this post that will take you to the official website for Dugi’s Dailies Guide. I want you to click it, go to the website, and just check it out. If you like what you see, go ahead and grab a copy from him. He’s got a 60 day refund policy, so if you like it, keep it, and if you think it sucks, get your money back. At the very least, you definitely want to sign up for the free section. There’s some good content in there, and you can’t beat the price.

Either way, drop me a comment below and let me know what you like or don’t like about it.

WoW Warrior PvP Guide

December 16th, 2009 | Uncategorized | Comments Off

The warriors of Azeroth seldom get any rest in World of Warcraft. If their raid does not want them for raids or a group does not want them to tank for them, odds are that someone wants a warrior or two to fill slots in a player versus player (PvP) group. The good news is that the role of warrior switches slightly and warriors are not perceived to be the biggest threat in PvP encounters.

The good news is that because warriors are not perceived as the biggest threats in PvP is that they can do damage to enemy players while the opposing side is busy concentrating on the priests, rogues, and casters.

Warrior PvP Basics

The main strategy for warrior PvP in World of Warcraft is controlling the movement of the enemy as much as possible. The hamstring ability is effective against casters and hunters to slow their movement and take away their advantage. Warlocks and Priests, who can use fear to cause the warrior to run away thus making him vulnerable and removing him from the fight. A warrior can change his stance to the berserker stance and gainimmunity to fear effects for a short time

In those rare times when a player faces a line of enemies coming towards him, he should not forget about his own ares of effect fear ability, intimidating shout. Intimidating shout may not be as effective or as long lasting as the single target spells of the priest or warlocks, but it can get the enemy running for a few seconds, buying the warrior’s PvP team valuable time to cast their own offensive spells without fear of retaliation.

Advantages of the Warrior

Warriors do not keep the group alive the same way they do in player versus environment groups, nor are they capable of as much damage as rogues, but they do have the highest hit point total of any class in World of Warcraft. This works to the a player’s advantage in PvP situations because opposing players will not perceive him as a threat. A skilled player can arrange his attacks to help the casters or his teammates going after the threats. If a player finds his character alone, his higher hit point total will keep him alive longer than many other classes.

Penn’s Ultimate Professions Guide is a profession leveling guide. Its purpose is to help you level up any profession (except the rogue-specific lockpicking skill) from 1 to 450. The guide is updated for 375-450, i.e. for Wrath of the Lich King.

Penn’s Ultimate Professions Guide presents its users with all of the places where trainers of gamers are located withiin the game. The guide also presents leveling details, including the order in which the recipes should be made. In addition, it also involves a detailed materials list for each of the recipes, along with the farming maps of the material. Users of the guide also have access to a detailed farming list for every section. Furthermore, material farming maps available with the guide present its users with the information on where to go to get the required material in order to level any profession.

Penn’s Professions Guide Includes
All Professions are covered, from 1-450
An overviews of the profession
what I recommend you take as companion professions
Best ways of making money with the profession
Information on specializing to help you decide and detailed info on how and where to do it
Where all of your trainers are located (for both Alliance and Horde)

Each Profession also has detailed leveling info which includes the following:

The guide is decent, but it could’ve been better. Honestly, looking some things up on database sites like wowhead.com isn’t that big of a deal, and if you have some experience you’ll be able to tell which materials to purchase and which ones to farm. Still, I feel it could use some polishing.

Warlock Leveling Guide

November 18th, 2009 | Uncategorized | Comments Off

In this Warlock Leveling Guide you’ll learn the keys to fast and successful Warlock Leveling. When you first get started on your Warlock leveling process you will need to decide on which of the classes will most affect you’re you leveling patterns.

You may choose the Affliction talent build, Destruction or Demonology builds. These are the best of the builds for a Warlock, with Demonology being the best of the three.

When choosing which to use you should know that with Affliction you will have short downtimes when you fight the different mobs but it will take much longer for you to kill them. Destruction is better for you to use when you are fighting against one target as you will be able to mow down the mob in just a couple of seconds if you hit them with either Shadow burn or Searing Pain.

Demonology is in between both of them. It is usually great for leveling if you have a companion or a pet. If you do choose this as your primary tree then you would probably want to choose Affliction or Destruction to use as the secondary tree

When you actually start Warlock leveling you should get an Imp. You can get one from your class trainer, you will have to finish the quest and chances are you will be at level 3. You will also need to combine the use of the spells with the Imp. You will be able to reach level 10 quite easily by just going around the starting area.

When you get to level 10, you will pick up Voidwalker and you will be able to send him in to pick up the mobs aggro then you can eliminate them using your Shadowbolt talent. In the next levels you should gear up using the different drops you’ll obtain such as Deadmines and Wailing Caverns.

When you have reached the 20th Level you will then go on the quest to find the Succubus, another one of your pets, this pet is great for questing and grinding.

You’ll also need to travel on the Redridge Mountains if you are a Warlock for the Alliance, then on to the Wetlands and then to Ashenvale to get in on a bunch of quests. If you are part of the Horde you will want to head down to the Barrens then on over to the Ashenvale quests. This area will help you to get up to at least level 25.

At this point you should stop using the Deadmines and Wailing Cavern and pick up the Shadowfang and the Stockades. When you are in the Ashenvale area you will want to take the few quests for the Blackfanthom Depths which will get you to skill level 32.

When you are doing the Warlock leveling you must remember that you will want to do a lot of grinding and questing in every area that has quests for you along the way to the highest levels and level up your pets as well.

WoW Rogue Guide

November 4th, 2009 | Uncategorized | Comments Off

Playing a Rogue isn’t for everybody. You want to be active and constantly in the thick of things, not hanging back. You must enjoy melee combat if you’re to play this class. If you like being sneaky, getting the drop on your enemies, and laugh as they try to run as you tickle their spleen with your blades, then this class is for you. “Lone Wolf” type players are a perfect match for the Rogue. With a multitude of abilities such as stealth, the ability to use poisons, lockpicking, and dual wielding weapons, the Rogue offers a lot gameplay options to the player.

In World of Warcraft, the Rogue is primarily designed to inflict massive amounts of damage in combat. The Rogue is a Melee DPS class, which means that the Rogue is designed to get into the thick of combat and deal out big chunks of damage to their foes. The Rogue excels at dealing out damage, and is also extremely versatile in other abilities.

The Rogue class mixes together melee combat, stealth, and fast speeds to create an impressive fighter that relies on his or her damage above all else. Often times you may find Rogues hiding within the shadows, leaping out at their opponents, disabling their special abilities, and launching fast successive attacks weapons in each hand. That’s right, if there was something similar to a Ninja in World of Warcraft the Rogue would be it.

Let’s take a quick look at what’s good and not-so-good about Rogues. Foremost, the Rogue deals out a ton of damage. People will fear you because of your ability to drop them quickly. The bad thing is that other players know this and will try their best to kill you first. You will attract a lot of attention from enemy players once they know you’re there. A Rogue can use only one-handed swords, daggers, fist weapons, and one-handed maces in melee combat. You can use guns, bows, crossbows, and throwing weapons as ranged weapons. Starting at level 10, you learn the ability to dual wield; that is, wielding 2 weapons at once in combat. Dual wielding is an essential ability, especially since you can’t carry a shield. The negative side of dual wielding is that your hit percentage drops a bit and the damage for the off-hand weapon is reduced. However, talents can offset those negatives to some degree. As a Rogue, you’ll have a good number of hit points and can take a few shots before dying. However, you are restricted to cloth and leather armor. Leather armor is decent, but it doesn’t protect as well as mail or plate. You’re not totally squishy, but you’re not a solid block of granite either. You can’t take the punishment that a Warrior can take. The greatest ability of the Rogue is stealth. With stealth, you can sneak up on opponents, which is a huge advantage. From stealth, you can launch a vicious attack, stun them, or inflict a lingering injury. The Rogue is great for playing solo due to their high damage output, ability to take some damage, and by using stealth to bypass tougher foes or to stun one opponent to reduce the number of active enemies that they have to face at one time.

Rogues are great at PvP if played smartly. One on one, you’re tough to beat. You can disrupt enemy spellcasters and you can reduce the armor of those pesky plate-wearing warriors. In groups, attack from the flanks or rear. Use your stealth! It’s your greatest asset. You cannot survive being ganged up on. In raids and instances, your role is to inflict the most damage possible that you can without drawing aggro off the tanks in the group. You have several abilities, such as Feint and Vanish, to lessen your threat so your enemies will keep their attention away from you. Let the tanks keep the enemy focused on them while you stab (or bludgeon) the enemy unnoticed.

WoW Shaman Leveling Guide

September 6th, 2009 | Uncategorized | Comments Off

In World of Warcraft, Shamans bring the most utility to a raid or party instance. Shamans can either heal, or they can DPS. A healing shaman has a difference that other healers lack. They have a spell called chain heal that heals 3 targets. Each jump of the chain heal reduces the healing effectiveness of the spell by 50%. If you want to find the fastest Way to Level Your Shaman to 80, you may need a good WoW Shaman Leveling Guide.

During the earlier levels of leveling a Shaman, you’ll realize how huge a difference it is between being a Melee physical damage dealer and being at ranged as a caster. One of the first reasons this is true is because of the damage you take as Melee. From level 1 to about level 10, your basic abilities will be casting lightning bolt to pull the enemy towards you, and just smacking him upside the head with whatever Melee weapon you’re holding.

Talent Specs for Leveling Shamans

Choosing the right talent build for shamans are not as difficult as it seems. When choosing the appropriate talent build there is one important guideline: choose damage instead of defense or healing. So, you may choose the elemental tree, but elemental is not really good for leveling, because you will rely on mana so you will not be able to sustain your damage for a long time. The best talent tree is the enhancement tree. The most important talents for leveling are the Thundering Strikes, the Flurry and the Dual Wield. Besides, Stormstrike and Improved Stormstrike may give a huge boost to your damage.

Gear and Weapons for Leveling Shamans

There are two ways to go about leveling your Shaman. Both ways require different stats or attributes as some call it. For the Enhancement Shaman, Strength, Stamina and Agility would be their primary attributes while Intelligence plays a smaller role. As an Elementalist Shaman, their Primary attributes would be Intelligence and Stamina. I mention Stamina as their primary attribute because during the earliest stages of leveling, it makes a huge difference having 10 more health and keeping alive. When looking for items to buy on the Auction House for your Shaman, look out for the stats you need. An Enhancement Shaman would be looking into buying items named such as “Embroidered Cuffs of the Bear” which has Strength and Stamina on it whereas an Elementalist would be looking for items which have the word “Eagle” at the end such as “Reinforced Gloves of the Eagle” where Intelligence and Stamina are involved.

Totem is a part and parcel for Shaman

Totems are what set Shamans apart from other classes; whether you’re playing Tauren, Orcs, Trolls or Draenei, your totems are your friends! While they can be very useful when dropped one by one, you can discover many combinations that will prove catastrophic to your enemies. For instance, if fighting several monsters, try a combination of Stone Skin and Searing. Check out a WoW Shaman Leveling Guide for more tips on totems.

As you can see, there are many things a WoW Shaman Leveling Guide can help you with. If you are in a rush to get to level 70, such a guide would be your best bet.

We could assist you make the dream come true, we are one of the best wow power leveling service provider.

Cheap Power Leveling for World of Warcraft

There are many roads that lead to level 70 and that is the reason why there are so many different alliance wow power leveling guides. Go ahead and check them out below:

The first guide is called Zygor’s leveling guide and It’s one of the first leveling guides that were created. I have used this guide myself many times to level up an alliance character to 80. The guide covers every race in the game. (Not the Horde races ofcourse). You will follow an unique leveling guide for each race from level 1 to level 80.

Zygor’s leveling guide is pretty easy to follow. It’s like a map of all the quests you will be doing, meaning that you can easily see which quest you will be doing next. It has also some really nice in game photos of different quest objects and quest places. It has one thing that set his guide appart from other leveling guides. He has a leveling mod! This mod is very cool. All you need to do is to install this mod and you can follow the whole guide in-game.

The second guide is called iDemise alliance leveling guide. It is the name of a disbanded counterstrike team. The iDemise gang are pretty new to the leveling guide stage. Their guide has not been around so long if you compare it to the giant guides like Brian Kopp and Joana. This guide aslo has an in-game leveling addon like Zygor’s guide.
